Manchin Rips ‘Leadership’ After Debt Rating is Downgraded

Not only are many Americans seeing their credit rating take a dive after getting pummeled by Bidenomics, but America is also taking a beating.

Fitch Ratings decided to downgrade the United States' long-term foreign currency issuer debt rating this week from its highest AAA to AA+.

When the news hit, the stock market got crushed, so Americans are facing yet another hit to their wallets thanks to Joe.

Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.V.) was not exactly happy, and he took it out on Joe Biden.

No Leadership

This was inevitable considering how our economy has been going, the staggering debt we have accumulated, and no end in sight for Biden’s spending spree.

Fitch stated that the new rating for the United States “reflects the expected fiscal deterioration over the next three years, a high and growing government debt burden, and the erosion of governance” related to other debtor nations “that has manifested in repeated debt limit standoffs and last-minute resolutions.”

It continued, “The repeated debt-limit political standoffs and last-minute resolutions have eroded confidence in fiscal management.

“These factors, along with several economic shocks as well as tax cuts and new spending initiatives, have contributed to successive debt increases over the last decade,” reported WV Metro News.

Machin unloaded, stating, “Washington must stop spending so much more than it takes in.

“From now on, the annual budget should be reasonable and responsible, which means our national debt needs to stop growing faster than our economy.”

It is almost comical that Manchin is the one delivering this message because if you go look at Biden’s big spending bills, including the ones where reconciliation was used, Manchin’s signature is there to support them all.

This is what Manchin does, however.

He helps create the problem, then he rails against it. Either that or he makes a bogus stand, then caves to Democrat leadership, just as he did with Biden’s spending bills.

As far as I am concerned, anything that Manchin says falls on deaf ears because he has proven he is a complete and utter fraud.

His stance against Biden now is nothing more than a ploy to get votes either for his Senate seat or as a third-party candidate for president.
