Man Who Helped AOC Rise to Power Says She Has ‘Disappeared’

Even since Rep. Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) has come into office, it has been quite clear she was looking for social media fame.

She grandstands whenever possible, as well as taking up this socialist agenda with her Squad buddies and Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT).

Ramon Ramirez Baez, who initially helped AOC get elected, has turned critical of the young Democrat, saying she has all but disappeared from her district.

Never Home

Like many areas of New York, AOC’s district is paying the price for the city being a sanctuary city.

Her district is seeing rising crime rates, including a significant rise in prostitution.

Baez was among those who helped AOC in her initial campaign, but now he is disappointed that she is clearly not looking out for her constituents.

He stated, "We never saw that lady, never, she disappeared. She [didn’t] do anything for the community, nothing, nothing.

"She disappeared from my community. You never saw Alexandria in my community, nobody saw her in her office. All the time, closed.”

If you go on AOC’s website, she only offers meetings by appointment, and the address posted is now the same address as New York City Councilwoman Tiffany Caban.

Baez continued, "What happened? You have to be [in the] community to do an event.

“She never did any event. I never saw Alexandria come to do a town hall meeting, to listen to the community, nothing. She disappeared.

"She goes all over the place, like a movie star, she goes to Texas, all over the place, but what about the community?"

What I don’t understand is why people in her district overwhelmingly support her when she does nothing for them.

For example, in the 2024 race, AOC won 69.2% of the vote in the general election, while also having won 82.2% of the vote in the primary race.

If you don’t hold her accountable, why would she ever change?

This, however, is what far too many Americans do when they head to the polls on election day.

They just pull the handle with the appropriate letter next to it.

If I were Baez, why not run against her in the next election and air all this dirty laundry to his fellow constituents? If he doesn’t, AOC will be in that seat until she looks like Nancy Pelosi.
