Major podcaster rejects Harris interview request
Dan Katz, the host of the extremely popular Barstool Sports podcast Pardon My Take, has rejected the idea of interviewing Vice President Kamala Harris.
Katz, according to the Daily Caller, rejected Harris with an emphatic two-word expletive.
"F*** no," the host said.
This all comes after former President Donald Trump has agreed to do an interview with perhaps the most popular podcaster of all, namely, Joe Rogan. There will be more on this in a moment.
"F*** NO'
Katz revealed that he has rejected Harris's request for an interview during his taping of Monday's Rundown program, the Daily Caller reports.
There, the host claimed that Harris has been looking to get on his show, and he made it clear that this will not be happening.
Katz said:
She wanted to come on PMT! F*** no. Hell no … I don’t want anything to do with either politician at this point.
Katz and Dave Portnoy, the founder of Barstool Sports, went on to discuss several other topics, including the fact that Trump is getting ready to do an interview with Rogan. The big question, of course, is whether Harris will also speak with Rogan.
Newsweek, in the latest update on the situation, reports:
With former President Donald Trump set to record an interview with Joe Rogan on Friday, attention has shifted to Harris, whose campaign officials reportedly met with Rogan's team last week, according to Reuters. However, an appearance by the Democratic nominee has not yet been confirmed.
Background
USA Today reports that Trump will be appearing on The Joe Rogan Experience in the very near future. It appears that the it will take place on Friday, Oct. 25, 2024.
Per the outlet:
Originally reported by Politico, Rogan is set to interview Trump in his studio based in Austin, Texas. USA TODAY has also been able to confirm on background that Trump will make the appearance on Friday. This would mark Trump’s first appearance on Rogan’s wildly popular podcast.
Trump has been making the rounds on several different podcasts, and Harris has been trying to keep up. It would be an understatement to say that it has been a struggle for Harris.
She, for example, has been mocked for her appearance on Alex Cooper's Call Her Daddy podcast.
There are widespread doubts about Harris appearing on Rogan's podcast for the simple fact that no one seems to believe that Harris is capable of having a multi-hour conversation with Rogan. In stark contrast, this sort of thing is Trump's bread and butter.
