Loren Merchan Raked in Millions Working for Dems

So here is the question…

Can you have a presiding judge in a case where his daughter makes millions for the defendant's opposing party?

Specifically, if she is fundraising off the case her father is presiding over?

Big Bucks

We are not talking about a few bucks here, but millions of dollars.

Loren Merchan works at Authentic Campaigns, which has a roster of clients that includes the who's who in the Democratic Party.

We are talking about people like Kamala Harris, Adam Schiff, and Gretchen Whitmer, just to name a few.

In the first half of this year, the company reportedly made nearly $13 million, up about 86% from the previous year, largely due to the marketing the company is doing for fundraising, using the Trump case as its juice.

This is one of the main reasons that Donald Trump’s attorneys have been trying to get Judge Merchan to recuse himself from the case.

In fact, the defense’s third motion in the case was just shot down.

Now, they are trying to get the sentence deferred until after the election, again citing the relationship between the judge and his daughter and how Democrats could use a sentence against Trump in the election.

I don’t know that Trump will be successful in anything brought before Judge Merchan, but information such as this will, I believe, help Trump win his appeal, at least to some degree.

If Merchan moves ahead with the sentencing and Loren Merchan uses that sentence in her fundraising projects, I don’t know how Trump could possibly lose his appeal.

That is far down the road, however, as Trump will have to deal with any negative press from a sentence during this election cycle unless Merchan agrees to push the sentence back past September 18.

That decision should come soon, but I do not have my hopes up.

While I believe there is a very small chance Merchan will rule in Trump’s favor, I believe there is a far better chance that Merchan will stick it to him by moving forward next month.
