Local Police Snipers Spotted Shooter Prior to Climbing Roof
Two things could have been prevented on Saturday.
First, the attempted assassination of Donald Trump and the death of one brave supporter, and injuries to two others never should have happened.
Second, the shooter could have been arrested instead of shot, giving us some insight into his disturbed head.
Bad Police Work
Now, before anyone thinks I have empathy for the shooter, forget that idea.
My interest in having that shooter arrested is solely to have prevented the assassination attempt from having taken place as well as the death of at least one rally attendee, and the injuries to two others, one of which is in a horrible struggle for his life
My second reason is that I would have loved for investigators to talk to this maniac to get some insight as to why he felt the need to try to assassinate Trump.
His testimony could have buried Democrats for the rhetoric they have been spewing.
I came to this conclusion after a report broke that the shooter was spotted by police long before he ever took those shots.
It would seem that police had “eyes on” possibly as long as 30 minutes before the shooter took his shot.
Local police snipers were inside the building scoping the crowd instead of on the roof where they could have provided protection and observation.
The shooter was spotted scoping out the building as well as taking readings with a range finder. They even saw him with a backpack outside the building before he climbed up to the roof.
At any one of those moments, someone should have taken that kid into custody, where they would have discovered his plot to take out Trump.
Instead, all they did was observe, allowing him to scale the outside of the building, bear crawl his way across, set up his gun, and fire his weapon nearly a half-dozen times before he was taken out.
Officers even took a picture of the shooter.
If there were not enough calls for the resignation of the Director of the Secret Service before, there should be now.
I would go even further to say that she should be immediately fired and charged for being complicit in the death of Corey Comperatore, as well as being charged for the death of Jim Copenhaven if he does not recover from his wounds.
