Lisa Bonet Files for Divorce from Jason Momoa

One of the more interesting couples in Hollywood is no more.

Two years after announcing they had split up, Lisa Bonet finally got around to filing for divorce from Jason Momoa.

The couple had been married in 2017.

It’s Over

The couple reportedly met at a club in 2005 through mutual friends.

Bonet, 56, had been divorced from rock star Lenny Kravitz in 1993, so there is no scandal regarding when they first got together.

As noted above, they married in 2017, with a prenuptial agreement in place.

According to the divorce filing, the couple separated in 2020, and it was not long after that it was revealed that Momoa was living in a $750,000 van near a friend’s house.

This had plenty of people wondering what was going on, as Momoa was worth an estimated $45 million at the time, and he was only a few miles away from the multi-million dollar home he shared with Bonet.

And for the record, this was obviously no ordinary van, as it was all tricked out and usually used by Momoa as a portable home when he was on set filming a movie.

The split was made public in January 2022, when Momoa posted on social media, "We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times. A revolution is unfolding - and our family is of no exception.

"Feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring. And so, we share our family news. That we are parting ways in marriage."

The couple shares two children, Lola and Nakoa-Wolf, and Bonet is reportedly seeking joint physical custody.

Neither is expected to seek spousal support from the other.
