Senator Lindsey Graham recently broke character and issued a DRASTIC ultimatum to the Mexican government:
Change your policies, or the United States is going to have to take SERIOUS action.
"We are going to start killing people."
Well, that's one way to do it.
"I want to let the Mexican government know that if you don’t change your policies, we are going to take things into our own hands," Graham began.
He's tired of terrorism. He's tired of violence from Mexican thugs toward innocent Americans. He's tired of our government not doing anything about it. He's tired of Mexico's government not doing anything about it.
"We are going to start killing people in Mexico who are killing Americans because they are terrorists. We do it all over the world every night. We have all of the legal authority we need to go after these drug cartels if we change our laws."
The "we do it all over the world every night" really makes you think. The American government DOES have the ability to make people just disappear.
Graham wants to do it by designating violent Mexican cartels as terrorist organizations under American law. "Then, I want to do the second thing, allow military force to be used."
He said that by taking lives, he would actually be saving 70,000 Americans per year. His plan is "to break the backs of these cartels that are killing 70,000 Americans a year."
Let's hope it works.
