‘Late Show’ Host Stephen Colbert Suffered Ruptured Appendix

The “Late Show” on CBS is taking an unexpected break.

Host Stephen Colbert broke the news on social media that he had a bit of a medical emergency and would not be able to make it into the studio for a minute.

Colbert suffered a ruptured appendix, with the show not airing live shows for a few days until he gets back on his feet.

Turkey Overdose

Colbert gave the fans the update on Instagram Threads.

He stated, “Sorry to say that I have to cancel our shows this week.

“I’m sure you’re thinking, ‘Turkey overdose, Steve? Gravy boat capsize?’ Actually, I’m recovering from surgery for a ruptured appendix.

“I’m grateful to my doctors for their care and to Evie and the kids for putting up with me. Going forward, all emails to my appendix will be handled by my pancreas.”

After several days off, the show was slated to return on Tuesday night.

This is now the second time in two months that Colbert has been forced to cancel shows for a medical recovery.

In October, Colbert came down with a case of COVID, so a full week of shows was canceled while he recovered.

I would imagine very few conservatives will be upset over the news of the show being off for a few days, but the liberal horde is probably looking for a safe space, as they hang on to every word this man says.

Late-night TV has become nothing more than a sounding board for liberal talking heads trying to convince the American people that conservatives are horrific people.

Yet, it is the Democrat-run cities that are overwhelmed with homelessness and crime, so go figure.
