Last words of murdered teen are revealed

The "chilling" last words of a teenage girl who was murdered in 2022 have recently been revealed.

AZ Family reports:

New body-camera video and a 911 transcript reveal what murdered Gilbert [Arizona] teen Rachel Hansen told first responders after she was shot in 2022 as police look for her killer.

Yes, you read that correctly. Law enforcement officers have yet to find the individual who murdered Hansen.

The 911 transcript that has been released is the emergency call that Hansen made after she was attacked, while she was dying.

"Please Hurry"

If you are unfamiliar with this story, the New York Post reports that Hansen is "an Arizona teen who was gunned down by a mysterious intruder while sleeping in her apartment in 2022."

The incident happened on June 4, 2022. At the first opportunity she had after the attack, Hansen managed to dial 911.

"I’ve been shot. Someone broke in and shot me," she said. After providing her address, she continued, "Please hurry. Please hurry. Oh (redacted). I’m bleeding. I’m bleeding."

At this point, the dispatcher urged Hansen to remain on the phone, and the dispatcher further asked Hansen if she was able to find a clean cloth to use to put pressure on the wound.

"Do you have any kind of clean cloth there that you can apply pressure to it? Is there anybody there with you? Are you close to any kind of cloth or a shirt or a towel that you can use?"

"I can't"

Hansen replied "no" to the dispatcher's questions. Then, the dispatcher said, "I need you to talk to me, OK?," to which Hansen replied, "I can't."

Emergency responders did have some trouble locating Hansen's residence, but they were able to get there in under five minutes.

Video footage from the incident shows police officers clearing the scene and locating Hansen. She was rushed to the hospital, but her injuries proved to be too much.

As mentioned at the outset, police have yet to track down Hansen's killing. In fact, the case has gone cold. Now, Hansen's family is hoping that this newly released information, especially the newly released video, will help lead to a break in the case.

Hansen's mother, Kim Hansen, has also hired a private investigator to help with the case. Kim said:

It’s been extremely difficult to continue life to do what we need to do every day without Rachel in it and not having any answers.
