Lara Trump Promises to Commit RNC Funding to Donald Trump's Election if Made Co-Chair

Lara Trump, daughter-in-law of former President Donald Trump, has pledged that if appointed co-chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC), she will prioritize directing all of the committee's financial resources towards the reelection efforts of her father-in-law.

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Lara Trump asserted that every dollar of the RNC's funds would be dedicated to supporting Donald Trump's campaign.

In her remarks to Newsmax, Lara Trump emphasized the need for the RNC to operate as a highly efficient and focused political entity.

"The RNC needs to be the leanest, most lethal political fighting machine we’ve ever seen in American history," Lara Trump told Newsmax.

"That is the goal over the next nine-and-a-half months. If I am elected to this position, I can assure you, there will not be any more $70,000 – or whatever exorbitant amount of money it was – spent on flowers," she added.

She underscored her commitment to ensuring that the committee's resources are allocated solely towards the goal of electing Donald J. Trump as president of the United States, emphasizing the urgency of saving the country as she sees it.

As Donald Trump advances in securing the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, his influence over the national party committee has become more pronounced.

Last week, he announced his endorsement of Lara Trump's candidacy for co-chair of the RNC, praising her as a skilled communicator aligned with the principles of the MAGA movement.

Highlighting the importance of a strong partnership between the RNC and his campaign, Trump emphasized the necessity of fair elections and robust voter turnout nationwide.

He expressed confidence that, with the support of the RNC, his campaign would successfully reclaim the presidency and fulfill the vision of "Making America Great Again."

The move to appoint Lara Trump as co-chair of the RNC reflects Donald Trump's strategic efforts to consolidate control within the party apparatus as he seeks a return to the White House.
