Kyle Rittenhouse Being Sued by Man Killed in Self-defense

Kyle Rittenhouse cannot get a break…

This kid's life was uprooted during the 2020 riots when he decided to arm himself and head to the streets to help protect local businesses.

He was put on trial for murder and found innocent, but the attacks continue to come, both inside the courtroom and out.

Leave Him Be

Not only was Rittenhouse on trial for murder, and acquitted, but he has faced other lawsuits in civil court.

Now he is facing another one, as the estate of Joseph Rosenbaum is suing Rittenhouse, among other parties, for the "wrongful death" of Rosenbaum, reported Fox News.

During the Jacob Blake rioting, Rosenbaum had charged at Rittenhouse and threw something at him, which Rittenhouse thought was a chain. Rittenhouse fired several times, killing Rosenbaum.

It was later revealed that it was not a chain, but a bag of clothing. Rittenhouse, thinking it was a chain, said he feared for his life, so he opened fire. The jury believed Rittenhouse, and found him not guilty.

Rosenbaum was no saint, either, with charges pending at the time for alleged domestic abuse. He had also reportedly been hospitalized for an attempted suicide, so this dude was a hot mess.

Prior to that, Rosenbaum had been incarcerated for child molestation charges.

Rittenhouse now says he cannot live in peace because of all these lawsuits being filed against him.

He stated, "These lawsuits are making it harder and harder for me to move on with my life.

"It is extremely difficult to go outside without fear of being harassed or assaulted because of the lies spread in these lawsuits. No one should have to continue to defend the fact that they acted in self-defense," reported Newsweek.

The lawsuit is a desperate attempt by family members attempting to cash in on Rosenbaum's death.

The suit claims that his survivors "have suffered, and continue to suffer, significant emotional distress and harm, including but not limited to the loss of society and companionship with Rosenbaum."

Forgive me if I laugh at that last line.
