Karine Jean-Pierre is taking some serious heat for her actions over the last few days.
She shut down a Biden press conference as well as making excuses for yet another Biden gaffe, and it was a doozy.
In the process, she admitted that the White House does actually screen and correct Joe Biden's statements to the media.
It Never Happened
Last week, Biden was clearly struggling to keep what little wits he has left intact during his Hanoi press conference.
Biden is more or less traveling around the globe over five days, and it is already showing.
During a Q&A with the media in Hanoi, his presser was cut short when he started going off on odd tangents, even telling the media, "I tell you what, I don't know about you, but I'm going to bed."
Not long after that, KJP stepped in and stated, "Thank you everybody – this ends the press conference," reported CNN.
Prior to that, KJP did not handle some questions about Biden's family members very well, telling the journalist, "Go ask somebody else."
So, the media changed directions, asking why statements by Biden were being cleaned up.
In this instance, it was regarding the death of former Governor Bill Richardson, where Biden offered condolences to his daughter, Heather.
There is just one problem, Richardson does not have a daughter named Heather, or even a daughter, for that matter.
In the official White House transcript, the reference to Heather was removed. Not just with a cross-out as we usually see, but just completely removed.
This was KJP trying to explain that mess…

I just have one more question…
With the number of lies that KJP has said up on that podium, I would love to know who is fact-checking her statements because they have clearly been slacking.
It is an astonishing admission that the man in the Oval Office is so incompetent that they have a team of fact-checkers to clean up his mess.
