Kimberly Guilfoyle teases possible new love in Valentine's Day social media posts

The political world was surprised last year when the romance -- and engagement -- between former Fox News personality Kimberly Guilfoyle and first son Donald Trump, Jr. came to an end, but it now seems that both parties are moving forward in a positive romantic direction.

As the Daily Mail reports, amid news of Don Jr.'s burgeoning romance with a Palm Beach socialite, Guilfoyle, his ex, has also teased a new love of her own with an intriguing Valentine's Day Instagram post.

New romance in bloom?

When Donald Trump Jr.'s nascent affair with Bettina Anderson began to make news months ago, reports suggested that Guilfoyle was blindsided, not to mention extremely hurt by the seeming betrayal.

However, judging from the jilted former fiancée's social media activity in recent days, Guilfoyle may well be on the rebound in a big and flashy way.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Guilfoyle posted a shot of a lavish bouquet of what appeared to be Valentine's Day roses from Miami florist Le Boutique Royal.

She captioned the photo with the words “thank you,” suggesting that they were a gift, and she added a pair of heart emojis in keeping with the amorous theme.

In addition, the former Mrs. Trump-to-be posted a photo of herself sporting a form-fitting, short-skirted silver dress with matching high heels in what could have been an attempt to show the world what the president's son is now missing.

Anderson gets in the spirit

Don Jr.'s new love did not let Valentine's Day pass without offering some snapshots of her own on social media, with one image depicting a vista of beautiful blue water suggesting that she and her beau may have taken a holiday trip together.

Anderson also gave her social media followers a glimpse of a box of gourmet goodies that included caviar and salmon, all of which was accompanied by the caption, “Ready for Valentine's Day.”

Though it was previously reported that some in the president's inner circle were wary of Anderson's apparent reputation as a social climbing party girl, those concerns have apparently not deterred the first son, as he eagerly had his new flame by his side during all of last month's inauguration festivities.

Also present in D.C. for the start of the president's new term was Guilfoyle, tapped to serve as part of the administration as U.S. ambassador to Greece.

Though the romantic lives of the rich and famous are never short on drama, it appears that, at least in this case, all's well that ends well -- at least for the time being.
