Ken Evans and his daughter, McKenna Evans were just having a father-daughter day.
Their joy was quickly turned to horror when a homeless man attacked them, killing them both.
Deadly Attack
When the attack occurred, Ken and McKenna were in a Kohl’s parking lot.
They were reportedly working on their car in the parking lot, just tinkering around, when a homeless man attacked them with a knife for no reason.
McKenna Evens, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ken Evans, 54, was transported to a local hospital, but he succumbed to his wounds.
Elizabeth Evans, the wife and mother, was obviously devastated.
She stated, “She wasn’t just my daughter, she was my best friend.
“She was just full of joy, and she cared for both people and animals.”
This attack will do little to help Democrats who are trying to say rising crime is a myth that the GOP is making up to win the election.
Homicides in most major Democrat-run cities are up significantly, including Los Angeles.
The spike in that city is sitting at seven percent with two months to go.
