Kentucky ICE raids net 81 arrests
When Donald Trump appointed Tom Homan as his border czar, I was about as giddy as it gets, knowing that Homan would drop the hammer on illegals in this country.
The man has not disappointed, leading raids around the country with ICE to catch nefarious illegal immigrants and remove them from the country.
The latest raid was conducted in Kentucky, netting 81 arrests.
Snag Them All
Trump made his agenda very clear on this subject, noting that as soon as he came into office, mass arrest and deportation operations would begin.
Homan then announced that at the top of the list were going to be the illegals who had been identified as hardened criminals.
We have since seen dozens of notorious gang members and violent offenders removed.
Earlier this year, Homan was furious when they conducted a raid in Colorado that had apparently been leaked.
Homan was expected triple-digit arrests in that raid, but they netted only one arrest. Homan immediately called out the anonymous leaker, stating this was about far more than just giving the bad guys a heads up, as these leaks were putting the agents' lives at risk.
DHS Secretary Noem and DNI Tulsi Gabbard have since vowed to plug leaks, and they have.
This time, when a raid was conducted in Kentucky, they wound up with 81 arrests, dozens of whom are now facing criminal charges.
U.S. Attorney Michael A. Bennett took the victory lap for the administration, stating, “I commend the work of our federal law enforcement partners, prosecutors, and support personnel who worked tirelessly to make this operation a success.
“The aggressive investigation and prosecution of those who violate immigration laws positively impacts the security of our communities and of the Nation.”
Another operation that recently took place in New Mexico flew under the radar, but that operation resulted in four dozen arrests, with nearly half of those having a serious criminal offense on the record.
You guys know where I stand on this… if you crossed that border illegally, you committed a crime, should be deported, and never permitted to enter this country again.
There is no greater deterrent than in removing their dream. Otherwise, all you do is invite them to keep coming back in the hopes that at some point, they make it, and can start to work the system for a path to citizenship.
No amnesty, no kind hand, no anything… Either stand in line and enter legally, or you will never see this country again.
