Former CIA intelligence officer David Priess was among the former intelligence officials from previous administrations that signed “the letter.”
I am, of course, referring to the intelligence community letter that came out regarding the authenticity of Hunter Biden’s laptop.
This is the letter that Joe Biden widely used to debunk the laptop during the election.
Priess was interviewed on Fox News this week and had zero regrets about signing the letter.
He claimed he did nothing wrong because he did not openly say the laptop was Russian disinformation, just that it had all the markings of Russian disinformation.
He, nor any of the other officials that signed the letter actually examined the laptop, so they had no way of knowing.
Here is Kayleigh discussing the interview...
Even though Preiss denies the letter had any impact on the election, that was far from the case.
Almost five percent of Biden’s voters said they would never have voted for him if they had known the laptop was authentic.
The letter should never have been written, period.
But it was, and it only had one purpose... to help Joe Biden win the election.
