Karl Rove: Dems Need Reality Check Over Midterm Performance

Former White House deputy chief of staff Karl Rove has a brutal message for ALL Democrats:

They need a "reality check about President Joe Biden's role in the midterm elections."

Some of Biden's people are claiming that Dirty Joe showed the backbone liberals needed to put out a not-as-bad-as-expected performance in 2022 midterms.

But according to Rove, that's not what happened.

Democrats didn't fare okay in midterms BECAUSE OF Biden, they did it DESPITE Biden.

A lot of liberals are even admitting that, such as Arizona Democrat Mark Kelly who has blasted Biden's atrocious handling of America's southern border.

"There are problems with the narrative," Rove began. "The midterms had more to do with Republican missteps than with Biden administration successes."

That's when Rove brought out the real heavy artillery, Joe's approval numbers.

"May I suggest a New Year’s resolution for White House aides? Stop trying to portray Mr. Biden as a political colossus. He’s an 80-year-old with a 43.5% approval rating. Some two-thirds of Americans think the country is on the wrong track on his watch. Only 19% want him to run again. Maybe Team Biden should develop another narrative, one based in reality, and devote next year to doing what the president promised in 2020: uniting the country and restoring a sense of normalcy."

Even though Republicans didn't perform nearly as well as they had hoped in 2022 midterms, it wasn't a total loss: Republicans did manage to flip the House of Representatives by a score of 222 to 213.

The new Congress will be sworn in on January 3, 2023.
