This week, a press briefing sounded more like a WWE event.
It all started because a reporter dared to ask Dr. Fauci a question about COVID origins.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre objected to how the question was asked, then all hell broke loose in the briefing room.
The Daily Caller’s White House correspondent Diana Glebova shouted a question out to Dr. Fauci as he had stepped away from the podium.
Now, if you have seen White House press briefings before, you know this is about par for the course.
For some reason, KJP was upset, especially at the Daily Caller reporter, and she tried to dress her down in front of the entire press corps.
She stated, “Hold on one second, we have a process here. I’m not calling on people who yell. You’re being disrespectful to your colleagues and you’re being disrespectful to our guest. I will not call on you if you yell, and also you’re taking time off the clock. “
Here is how it played out…

As you could hear, that did not sit well with other members, several of whom immediately fired back at KJP to defend Glebova…

This is more proof of the fractured relationship this administration has with the media.
The media was already growing tired of this administration’s constant deception, with the recent snub of the White House wedding clearly hitting a nerve.
Something tells me pressers like that will be the norm rather than the exception as we move forward.
If KJP continues to treat these journalists like children rather than adults, I would suspect the reporting of this administration will be decidedly different from what we have seen over the first two years.
I will be the first to admit that the reporting has improved in recent months, but it is still far away from truly holding this administration accountable for its actions.
