Kari Lake closing gap in AZ Senate race as final ballots are counted
At the time of writing, Republican Kari Lake is still a few thousand votes behind Democrat Ruben Gallego in their race for Senate in Arizona. With the remaining votes outstanding coming from generally Republican areas, it might not stay that way for long!
According to the opinion of two top executives at Turning Point USA, we could be witnessing a true comeback story when it comes to Lake’s race for a position in the Senate.
The possibility of Lake beating Gallego is not unheard of, according to the COO and CEO of Turning Point USA.
Kari Lake needs 51.9% of remaining 718,000 votes.
Lots of votes in the reddest counties left.
Kari has been winning drops from the bluest county.

COO of Turning Point USA, Tyler Bowyer, took to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, to share his belief that Lake has a good chance in the election that remains undecided.
“Guys, I am running through the voters left to count in Arizona and between that and the voters that we know we ballot chased, Kari Lake is in an incredible spot. This thing is going to be close and every ballot matters, but I feel really good about what we know we have left,” Bowyer wrote in the post.
Bowyer was not alone in his thoughts.
The CEO of Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk, also took to X to share a similar statement!
“Kari Lake needs 51.9% of remaining 718,000 votes. Lots of votes in the reddest counties left. Kari has been winning drops from the bluest county,” Kirk wrote.
At this point, all we can do is wait for the votes to be counted.
However, Kirk and Bowyer’s theory of votes possibly leaning Republican due to the counties from which they will hail DOES make sense and is plausible in nature.
With Arizona’s historically long ballot in this year's cycle, it is not a huge surprise that votes are still being counted.
“For the first time since 2006 here in Maricopa County, we have a two-page ballot, and we have races on both sides of those,” Maricopa County Supervisor Bill Gates said of the very ballot that caused hours and hours of waiting for some Arizona voters.
Do you think Kirk and Bowyer are right in their prediction that Lake could come back and win it all?
