Kari Lake Calls Fentanyl A 'Weapon Of Mass Destruction'

Kari Lake, an Arizona Republican candidate for the United States Senate, just gave America a reality check about what is going on at the border.

As thousands of illegal immigrants pour across the border, there’s something else also entering the states at an alarming rate.

Fentanyl.

Lake called the drug what it truly is -- a “weapon of mass destruction.”

She's from Arizona, so she knows what she's talking about. Politicians who live 2,500 miles away from the border between Arizona and Mexico shouldn't be making the rules for what goes on there.

Lake sat down with Breitbart News editor-in-chief Alex Marlow to talk about the horrors of fentanyl in Arizona and the reality of what comes next.

“One of the most horrifying things about that wide open border is the fentanyl pouring across,” Lake said.

“It doesn’t stay in Arizona. It comes through Arizona, it takes mere hours for it to get to other states, and now in every state we’re seeing a record number of young people dying from fentanyl poisoning. Not overdoses, poisoning,” Lake continued.

Lake went on to tell a story of a mother who lost her daughter to fentanyl after her daughter mistook half a pill of fentanyl for half a pill of Xanax.

It only took half of a pill to kill her.

Lake also took time to comment on the first person to make a difference with border security, namely, former President Donald Trump. Lake also mentioned how President Joe Biden effectively undid the amazing work of Trump in just one day.

“The first one that ever talked about it and did something was Donald Trump. I saw how our border became secure. For the first time, me living here and covering this state in 27 years. And one day one Joe Biden came in and pulled that back. There’s no words to describe it,” said Lake.

Lake could not be more spot on. We need someone in the White House who is going to fix the crisis at the border, not make it worse.

President Joe Biden has got to go!
