Kamala Remains Off Campaign Trail for Second Day

The Harris campaign is a hot mess, reminding me quite a bit of the waning days of the Mitt Romney campaign.

Harris has made the decision to stay off the campaign trail for the second consecutive day.

Meanwhile, Trump is making numerous stops and interviews daily, and yes, he is calling her out for being "lazy" as we head into the final stretch of the election cycle.

Where is Kamala?

The election paths for Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are both pretty clear right now.

For Trump, he needs to start by winning North Carolina and Georgia, then he would need to split Michigan and Pennsylvania, as well as splitting Arizona and Nevada.

For Harris, her easiest path is to sweep the Blue Wall states of Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

The crossover here is the Blue Wall states, so at the very least, Harris should be hammering Michigan and Pennsylvania to block Trump, but she is nowhere to be found.

In the most recent surveys, Trump is +1.0% in Arizona, even in Georgia, -4.0% in Michigan, even in Nevada, +2.0% in Pennsylvania, and +1.0% in Wisconsin.

This is far from the time to take off, but after having taken Tuesday off, the only event on Harris’ schedule for Wednesday was a Town Hall on CNN.

Harris also has a couple of speeches on her schedule, but I do not see any events posted on her website.

Trump went off on Harris on Wednesday, getting everyone stirred up by calling Harris “lazy as hell,” which is now considered to be a racist statement by the media.

AP called it “a word long used to demean Black people in racist terms.”

For the record, nowhere in the definition of “lazy” in Merriam-Webster does it insinuate the use of the term is racist.

That, my friends, is the desperate state of today’s media.
