Kamala Harris Says Trump Narrative is ‘Insulting’

Donald Trump believes part of the reason that black voters are starting to back him is the fact he was indicted, then convicted of a felony.

This is not something that originally came from his mouth, either, as numerous high-profile black celebrities uttered those words long before Trump ever said anything.

Regardless, Trump is going with it, and now Kamala Harris is calling it insulting.

That’s Not Right!

Harris was on “Morning Joe” on MSNBC when they asked her about Trump’s comments.

They played the clip where Trump had stated, “I got indicted a second time and a third time and a fourth time, and a lot of people said that that's why the black people like me because they have been hurt so badly and discriminated against.”

Mika then followed up, stating, “He also says he's not a racist because he has a lot of black friends.”

Harris responded, “Yeah. Well, the first point, as connected to the second point, is insulting.

“It's insulting for a number of reasons, including he has reduced a whole population of people down to a sum total of what is in his mind who they are, and he's wrong, and he's wrong.”

As I noted above, this narrative did not come from Trump, but from the black community.

The most recent was rapper 50 Cent, who, when asked why black men were identifying with Trump, stated it was because "they've got RICO charges [too]."

“The Breakfast Club” co-host Charlamagne Tha God has hinted that this is about far more than just a conviction against Trump.

He recently stated, “When it comes to black people you see who maybe are showing support for Trump, I think it’s because Trump is actually talking to young black male voters.

“He’s directing ads toward them. They are a group that never gets courted.

“Black people don’t get courted either as a whole. But that old Democratic regime speaks to old black men and they think everybody else in the black community and black families are going to fall in line.”

That goes directly to my previous posts about how Democrats have always taken these voters for granted.

I can guarantee there will be Haley and DeSantis voters who will only vote down ballot, so if Trump can increase his popularity with black voters, this could be the secret to him winning the White House in 2024.
