I would have been called a misogynistic racist if I had said this.
Bill Maher said it, so it might be okay.
Maher believes that for Democrats to have any chance of keeping the White House in 2024, Kamala Harris needs to be booted off the ticket.
She's Just Bad
Maher actually unloaded on Harris, and I am pretty sure some of the liberal hosts out there will light him up for it.
Maher stated, "Once you have that real estate, and you wake up in the White House, and your office is the Oval, I just don't think you give it up.
"It's very hard to take away the nomination from the president, a sitting president.
"What I could see is replacing the vice president.
"Because she's just not very popular anywhere. And it didn't seem to work out.
"And, I don't know, that's been done before on a ticket."
After another panel member hit Harris on all the skeletons in her closet, all of which would be drawn out if she were atop the ticket, Maher took another shot at her.
He stated, "I just think she's a bad politician.
"I think she's a very bright person, but I don't know- I can see them doing that because a lot of the problem with 'Biden being old' is- oh, if he dies, then you're going to get this person."
CNN's Van Jones then made an utterly ridiculous comment, saying that Harris has not "found her footing" yet.
Are you kidding me? We are almost two years into this administration.
How much more time does she need?
Harris was put on this ticket to be the heir apparent and her approval rating is less than Joe Biden.
One thing I'm afraid I have to disagree with Maher on is Harris' intelligence.
I used to think she was smart, but that notion went out the window a long time ago.
Now I think her former speech writer (who I will also assume wrote most of her questions for Senate hearings) is smart.
Harris has proven to be dumb as a box of rocks during this administration and incapable of shining in a room full of children.
Harris has to go, period, because Kamala in the Oval Office is the only thing worse than Joe in the Oval Office.
