Now, friends and family are in total shock over the unexpected news.

Famous K-pop composer Shinsadong Tiger’s death has been confirmed by police in South Korea

“It is correct that Shinsadong Tiger was found dead, but we are unable to provide further details, including time and place of death,” the statement from Gangnam police read.

He was only 40 years old.

The cause of Shinsadong Tiger’s death has not been confirmed at this time.

Unfortunately, signs may be pointing toward a suicide.

Shinsadong Tiger’s personal life had not been going well the last few years.

According to Yonhap news, he was struggling financially and even was reported to have filed for bankruptcy protection back in 2017.

What is even more devastating is the fact that he truly was an incredible composer with an list of impressive accomplishments.

He entered the music industry at just 19 years old and quickly began to make a name for himself.

In fact, Shinsadong Tiger is one of the people responsible for some of the biggest K-pop names to ever make their way out of South Korea.

Those names include T-ara, 4minute, and even APink.

He even released two of his own singles “Supermarket – The Half” and “Super Hero.”

Some of his work even won a key industry award.

Maybe the saddest part of this death is that we will never know what he could have accomplished and how far he could have gone.

Many people in the entertainment business are just waiting for that one big break.

After that, opportunities open up like never before and people start to see just how talented they truly are.

Shinsadong Tiger had perhaps not had that moment yet.

Now, we will truly never know.

We pray for anyone grieving the loss of Shinsadong Tiger during this tragic time.
