Judge sets April 21 date for Mayor Eric Adams' trial

Fellow liberal alongside Kamala Harris and the current mayor of New York City, Eric Adams, is in SERIOUS hot water. The mayor is facing five CRIMINAL charges he may have a hard time getting off the hook for.

Now, Americans know that we can look forward to his trial starting on April 21, 2025.

Instead of having this complicate 2025's off-year election, both the people involved AND the public would like to know if Adams is guilty in a timely manner.

The charges range from bribery to conspiracy to commit wire fraud and two others.

“I always knew that If I stood my ground for New Yorkers I would be a target—and a target I became. If I am charged, I am innocent and I will fight this with every ounce of my strength and spirit,” Adams said in a statement after his indictment went public.

Since the charges have been brought against him, his legal team has pressed for a fast trial to avoid interference with the upcoming election in 2025.

The judge on Adams’ case, Judge Dale Ho said he is “taking very seriously the public’s interest in a quick trial.”

Ho says Adams should reach a resolution to the trial about a month to a month and a half before the election takes place next year.

"I do think it’s important for the public to have a decision one way or another. Something may come up, but that’s the earliest date that we can realistically try the case,” Ho said.

Adams is being represented by a lawyer named Alex Spiro.

Spiro, who is furious with Ho’s timeframe, has released a statement on the judge’s order.

“By the time he is on the ballot this is held over his head. You can’t lead as an indicted man,” Spiro explained.

That is an ironic point considering that not a single liberal seems to care about the double standard of former President Donald Trump having stood trial while running for president!

It is just classic example of the left saying do as a say, not as I do.

Do you agree with Judge Ho’s trial date decision for Adams?
