Judge Orders Trump to Stop Using Isaac Hayes Song at Rallies

Donald Trump has gotten himself into some trouble over a song again.

It was just last week that the Foo Fighters were having a hissy fit over one of their songs being used by Trump, but that was legit, as Trump had purchased the license.

This time, however, Trump got caught with his hand in the cookie jar, and a judge ordered him to stop using the song.

Stop It!

The song in question is “Hold On, I’m Comin” by Isaac Hayes.

According to Hayes’ estate, Trump’s campaign never paid a licensing fee to use the song at the RNC or a Trump rally in Phoenix.

On top of that, the song was featured in videos that were posted online.

Judge Thomas Thrash Jr. ordered Trump to stop using the song, but he did cut Trump a break by not ordering them to take down the videos that were already posted.

Isaac Hayes’ estate stated, “We are very pleased with the court’s decision.

“Donald Trump has been told he cannot use the music of Isaac Hayes without a license. That was our No. 1 goal. Now we work on the underlying trial and case.”

Ronald Coleman, an attorney for Trump, also responded, “The only injunctive relief ordered was with respect to future use, which had already ceased voluntarily.

“The plaintiffs also wanted the court to order a takedown of all campaign videos in which the song could be heard – and that was denied on the grounds that the plaintiffs failed to show irreparable harm from those videos and in light of the important political free speech concerns that would have been implicated by a takedown order.

“We are very pleased with this outcome.”

I just don’t understand why this keeps happening to Trump, and I would highly recommend he fire whoever keeps playing these songs without a proper license.

As I stated in another report, just pay the fee, and avoid the bad publicity and legal fees.
