Judge Merchan’s Daughter Scores Windfall During First Half of 2024

There has been a lot of talk about Judge Merchan being biased against Trump due to the profession of his daughter.

That claim is surely going to get more scrutiny now after financial reports for his daughter were released for the first half of 2024.

If the reports are accurate, Mechan’s daughter, Loren, raked in a cool $12.7 million spotlighting Trump’s legal problems for Democrats.

Compromised?

Some will say that Merchan’s daughter’s profession has nothing to do with the decisions on the bench.

However, it is tough to look past how she makes her money and the decisions that Merchan has made in this case.

Merchan is the presiding judge in the Alvin Bragg business fraud case.

His daughter is a Democrat operative who runs Authentic Campaigns, which showed an 86% increase in income this year, largely due to the campaigns she was running for Democrats highlighting Trump’s legal woes, including the losses he was taking in this case.

Her list of clients is like the whose who of the Democrat Party, including Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.), who was also the counsel for Dems during the impeachment, and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.

This is yet one more reason why I believe that Trump will get relief upon appeal in this case.

There were so many mistakes, so many biased decisions, and a clear conflict of interest for Judge Merchan.

If this verdict is not overturned or the penalties lessened upon appeal, there is clearly something wrong with our justice system.
