Judge Arthur Engoron will not recuse himself from Trump case

Well, just when you think the trials of former President Donald Trump cannot get any more ridiculous, Judge Arthur Engoron has proved us wrong!

Engoron is the same judge that ordered Trump to pay $454 MILLION dollars after finding him liable for fraud. He's also at the center of an appeal from Trump's team arguing that the judge should be removed over "inappropriate communications" he had regarding the former president's case!

Engoron has now officially and formally denied ever having “prohibited communications” with anyone about Trump’s case.

Unfortunately for Engoron, Trump’s legal team also seems to double as incredible investigators.

Trump’s Georgia legal team already revealed the details of an illicit affair between District Attorney Fani Willis and her subordinate Nathan Wade that resulted in Wade stepping down from his position.

So, when Trump requested that Engoron be removed from the case saying that the judge was engaged in “prohibited communications” with a lawyer, there is a pretty good chance he knows what he is talking about!

However, Engoron has stuck to his guns, now formally denying in writing that he ever had any “prohibited communications” about Trump’s case that had any bearing on the outcome.

“I am supremely confident in my ability to continue to serve, as I always have, impartially,” Engoron wrote in the statement denying Trump’s recusal request.

Engoron also went on to attack Trump lawyer Adam Bailey, saying that he was even “accosted” by Bailey near the courthouse in the past.

“I did not initiate, welcome, encourage, engage in, or learn from much less enjoy, Bailey’s tirade. I did not base any part of any of my rulings on it, as Bailey has outlandishly, mistakenly, and defamatorily claimed,” Engoron said.

At this point, it is obvious that Engoron is more concerned with tanking Trump than achieving justice!

If Engoron HAS had any illegal communications that should result in his recusal, we can rest assured Trump’s team will discover the details.

For now, all we can do is wait!

Do you think Trump’s team is correct when they say Engoron has had “prohibited communications” with another lawyer about Trump’s case?
