John Fetterman and wife involved in crash on Maryland interstate

John Fetterman was once one of conservative America's most hated men.

Despite Dr. Oz being endorsed by Donald Trump, Fetterman defeated Oz in the Pennsylvania Senate race, leading to several controversies around Donald Trump. One report even indicated that Trump took the frustrations of Oz's loss out on his wife Melania.

Since taking office though, Fetterman has completely flipped his reputation. He's still a Democrat, but he's willing to employ common sense so much more than many liberals that he's become somewhat respected by Republicans in America as well.

Both sides of the aisle are undoubtedly heartbroken after learning the latest news about Fetterman:

John, age 54, and his wife, Gisele, were involved in a car accident on June 9 that was so bad that all parties had to be transported to the hospital.

Fetterman was driving a Chevy Traverse when he reportedly rear-ended a Chevy Impala.

"On Sunday morning, John and Gisele were involved in a car accident with another driver," Fetterman's office said. "Out of an abundance of caution, they were evaluated at a local hospital. John was treated for a bruised shoulder, and they were discharged that afternoon. They are doing well and happy to be back in Braddock."

Both John Fetterman and the other driver were transported via ambulance to a hospital in West Virginia.

While no citations have been handed out as a result of the accident, authorities have indicated that the crash investigation "remains active and ongoing."

Regardless of your political affiliation, you have to admit that this must have been a scary situation for everyone involved!
