West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin, a Democrat, must have REALLY upset Joe Biden and other liberals with what he said in a recent interview.
American's with common sense, however, LOVED it. So what was it exactly that would have upset all the liberals in the land?
Joe Manchin said it was important to carry values that are "fiscally responsible and socially compassionate."
Seems like everything that Americans stand for, and radical liberals stand against.
Joe Manchin made the claim to roughly 170 Greater Des Moines Partnership members during a meeting in Iowa. The claims, as well as the event in general, sparked renewed speculation about Manchin possibly taking up a third-party presidential run.
"I believe the government should be your partner. I’m not your provider," Manchin said.
That sounds a lot like Reagan and little like Biden.
"When people say what’s your politics? I say I’m fiscally responsible and socially compassionate, which I think most Americans are."
He's right, most Americans ARE like that. Even most liberals are pretty sure that's what they're voting for. Too bad the only people in America without those values are the ones at the top of the DNC.
He also said that he wasn't interested in discussion a presidential run just yet, all he's focused on right now is what we can do together to save America.
"Honest to God, my main concern: How do we save this nation? How do we bring people together to protect the quality of life, the values that we’ve had that we were raised with? That’s all. You have got to fight for the reasonable, responsible middle and no one is doing that. There’s no options."
