Joe, Jill Biden could be plotting revenge over perceived betrayal by former allies: Report

Since President Joe Biden was unceremoniously dumped as his party's nominee this summer, rumors have swirled about the resulting bitterness and anger harbored by the first family.

Now, according to Emily Goodin of the Daily Mail, it is becoming increasingly clear that there is indeed rancor brewing inside both Joe and Jill Biden, alongside the very real possibility that they will metaphorically “burn it all down” on the way out of D.C.

Revenge on the cards?

The swift and arguably brutal manner in which Joe Biden was pushed aside following his disastrous debate performance against Donald Trump left many wondering just how loyal the Bidens would remain to those they believe did them so dirty.

According to Goodin, the answer is becoming evident, noting that the Bidens “have been quietly sharpening the metaphorical carving knives, with their sights set firmly on the one-time allies they perceive as having wronged them” and speculating that former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the Obamas may be atop that list.

One D.C. insider noted, “Jill views Democrats on Capitol Hill, the [wider] party, the Obamas, staff inside and outside the White House, the media, and all of Washington, D.C. with such misguided resentment that I can't imagine she [isn't] encouraging [Joe] to burn the whole thing down, despite his better judgment.”

With high-dollar Democratic Party donors reportedly balking at the notion of ponying up big money for a Biden presidential library, the family may well be gearing up to expose all of the left's darkest secrets in a bid for a sort of revenge.

In what could be a hint at what is to come, Joe Biden recently vowed that while he and Jill will no longer reside in the White House, “we're not going away,” and given what transpired in July, that could be sufficient to strike fear in the hearts of many.

Starting with Nancy

In what could arguably have been an initial salvo in his retribution tour, Joe Biden last week offered support for a ban on stock trading by members of Congress, as Mediaite noted, a move many viewed as a veiled dig at Pelosi, who played a noteworthy role in shoving him off the Democratic Party ticket.

Biden stated, “I don't know how you look your constituents in the eye and know because the job they gave you, gave you the inside track to make more money,” a pattern of conduct that has drawn criticism – not to mention millions of dollars – to Pelosi and members of her family for years.

The president's statement, according to DNC finance committee member Lindy Li, was clearly directed at Pelosi, given that he has pent-up resentment over her behind-the-scenes string-pulling that effectively ended his re-election bid.

It is not just Li suggesting that Biden's statement was clearly targeted at the former House speaker, with Fox News' Kevin Corke suggesting that the president made his statement because “he still has a bone to pick with Rep. Nancy Pelosi. He's still very angry that he got summarily pushed aside, and he's finally saying that no one in Congress should be able to trade on the inside information, and you know who's notorious for that? Nancy Pelosi.”

With just a few weeks left before the Bidens make way for Donald Trump, it remains to be seen whether they will up the ante in their battle with those they see as the worst kind of traitors or if they will recede into the background as so many Democrats are assuredly hoping.
