Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. continues to thwart President Joe Biden's plans to remain in the White House for another four years.
Kennedy remains a thorn in Biden's side as he continues to hold a large chunk of the Democrat votes, according to recent polling.
Kennedy continues to gain ground against Biden as Democratic voters are not excited about re-electing Biden in 2024.
Kennedy Spoiling Biden's Campaign...
"Kennedy’s polling numbers have remained steady since he launched his 2024 presidential campaign, and the most recent Fox News Poll from this week shows the challenger commanding 16% of the Democratic primary vote, a sizable chunk for a primary challenger against an incumbent president," reported Fox.
Biden’s number in the poll only amounts to a stagnated 62% of Democratic primary voters. That's a very small number to receive inside your own party.
Kennedy's polling numbers, however, have not stagnated and continue to grow. Polling shows Kennedy with 16% of the Democratic vote, and growing.
"Although Kennedy’s Fox News polling numbers are 3% lower than where he found himself in April, maintaining double-digit support since April shows President John F. Kennedy’s nephew has some political staying power," reported Fox.
The polls also suggest that even many Democratic voters remain unenthusiastic about backing the 80-year-old president for another term.
Additional polling shows Kennedy maintaining 20% of the blue votes.
The Democratic National Committee announced it would not be hosting primary debates for the 2024 cycle. I wonder if Biden's inability to put together a simple sentence has anything to do with that decision?
"Biden does not fare much better in the CNN poll either, receiving support from 60% of Democratic primary voters while Williamson took 8%," reported Fox.
Kennedy could be a presidential re-election ruiner for Biden if Williamson drops out of the race and Kennedy receives a majority of her supporters' votes.
With enough money and support, Kennedy could potentially mount an independent campaign without the Democratic Party’s backing that could damage Biden's re-election effort.
"Still, Biden's political bleeding serves as a warning to his campaign that his re-election is not as buttoned-up as the campaign may believe it is," Fox reported.
