After seven months of silence in terms of a full media interview, Joe Biden dropped a big one during his “60 Minutes” interview this weekend.
Biden, on the pandemic, stated, “The pandemic is over.
“We still have a problem with COVID.
“We’re still doing a lot of work on it. But the pandemic is over.”
CDC and WHO Disagree
That sentiment did not sit well with liberals and Biden’s own CDC and the WHO contradicted what Biden was saying.
Both health agencies still have COVID listed as a public health emergency.
Liberal commentators even accused Biden of pushing a false narrative.
MSNBC host Medhi Hasan tweeted…
One of the (many) reasons they’re not wearing masks is because people like Biden keep (falsely) telling them the pandemic is over. https://t.co/fvwOvtBQbo

Progressive Democratic Kentucky state Rep. Attica Scott responded…
“My goodness these folks are clueless. It’s no wonder the party is a train wreck…” is going to apparently be my tweet theme through November and beyond since democrats keep playing these games with our lives.
You don’t get to just declare a global pandemic over, Mr. @POTUS. https://t.co/CYgfOpORCH

Former Democratic Ohio state Sen. Nina Turner, a senior fellow at the progressive Institute on Race, Power and Political Economy, also slammed Biden.
Turner stated, “The pandemic isn’t over.
“We are over the pandemic. The pandemic is not over with us. Big distinction.”
Dr. Erif Feigl-Ding, an epidemiologist and former Harvard University faculty member, piled on…
Heck no. With all due respect, @JoeBiden — you’re wrong. Pandemic is not over. Almost 3,000 Americans are dying from #COVID19 every single week.
A weekly 9/11 is a very big deal. Don’t even get me started on #LongCOVID—wreaking havoc on millions more. pic.twitter.com/p0dI3BE0oh

The comments by Biden even caught his own team by surprise, with the administration reportedly scrambling behind closed doors to figure out how to fix this.
