Joe Biden Sold America a False Bill of Good with the IRA

The "Inflation Reduction Act" was nothing more than a big lie.

The legislation was packed with all kinds of goodies for clean energy suppliers, but Biden and Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.V.) (let's not forget the role he played in this) tried to sell this as legislation that would stop inflation and help build the economy.

Well, judgment time is here, and Biden is failing, and it should cost him the White House in 2024.

You Are Failing

All you have to do to see how badly Biden's policies are failing Americans is to look at the polls.

Biden is overwhelmingly underwater on the economy, yet he keeps trying to tell Americans that Bidenomics is working.

There are already signs that inflation is going to get us again this winter… just look at how gas prices are slowly ticking back up to all-time highs.

When gasoline goes up, everything else goes up because of the costs of transportation for those goods.

I have been telling people to dig in for months, yet, for the mainstream media, gasoline prices are not even a story right now. We are seeing a repeat of what took place when Biden first took office, and nobody is reporting it.

In terms of the taxpayer money that Joe Biden is investing in clean energy, well, one of the companies that he was touting during the rollout of the IRA has gone out of business already.

Proterra, which is the company that Biden celebrated as leading the way to changing our school buses to electric, filed for bankruptcy earlier this month, reported Fox News.

Proterra CEO Gareth Joyce stated, "The foundation we have built has set the stage for decarbonization across the commercial vehicle industry as a whole, and we recognize the great potential in all of our product offerings to enable this important transformation.

"This is why we are taking action to separate each product line through the Chapter 11 reorganization process to maximize their independent potential.

"While our best-in-class EV and battery technologies have set an industry standard, we have faced various market and macroeconomic headwinds, that have impacted our ability to efficiently scale all of our opportunities simultaneously.

"As commercial vehicles accelerate toward electrification, we look forward to sharpening our focus as a leading EV battery technology supplier for the benefit of our many stakeholders."

That sums up the entire EV industry and clean energy as a whole in a nutshell. It is expensive, period, and it is well beyond something that the average American can afford right now.

I have no problem with clean energy, but I have always stated that it should be folded in gradually to complement fossil fuels, not this ridiculous plan that Joe Biden has to end fossil fuels right now.

There is simply no reason that we cannot have both, working together, to offer a more reasonably priced source of power for the American people. Why Biden wants it to be one or other is just idiotic, and one need only look at Proterra and rising energy costs to prove that Joe Biden's plan is a sinking ship.
