President Joe Biden tried to do some fundraising off of former President Donald Trump's CNN town hall interview, but it didn't go how Biden planned.
It probably didn't go to plan because it was a really stupid idea. Imagine that! Biden did something stupid...
Biden hit publish on a tweet that read "want four more years of that?"
"It’s simple, folks. Do you want four more years of that? If you don’t, pitch in to our campaign," the president tweeted after Trump's town hall appearance.

America watched as Trump largely dominated the CNN town hall and owned moderator Kaitlan Collins, essentially speaking unopposed.
"Former President Donald Trump steamrolled CNN’s Kaitlan Collins during Wednesday’s Townhall event in New Hampshire, dismissing her politically biased and outdated questions, effectively reducing her role as the moderator by speaking directly to the audience about the 'gotcha' topics a visibly irritated Collins continually posed throughout the night," reported Breitbart.
A room full of people at a CNN event gave Trump a standing ovation at his introduction.
Trump appeared calm, educated, and poised as Collins attempted to begin the event with a series of contentious topics, from the 2020 election results, to January 6, to accusations in the E. Jean Carroll case.
Democrats who oppose Trump later expressed displeasure over the fact that CNN basically gave him a platform to speak.
Many called it a "Trump infomercial."
"CNN should be ashamed of themselves," whined socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
"They have lost total control of this 'town hall' to again be manipulated into platforming election disinformation, defenses of Jan 6th, and a public attack on a sexual abuse victim," Ocasio-Cortez continued. "The audience is cheering him on and laughing at the host."

"This is an irresponsible disaster of journalism," wrote Matt Fuller of the Daily Beast. "We have absolutely learned nothing."
"This is a Trump infomercial," wrote Meghan McCain.
What I'm trying to understand is who in Biden's camp thought it was a good time to ask America if they want four more years of Trump after a room full of people at CNN, for crying out loud, had just given the former president a standing ovation?
Also, you should go read the comments on Biden's tweet. It's hilarious.
