Rep. Jim Himes (D-CT) better watch his back.
Hines was recently on MSNBC when he made a statement that will not sit well with the White House, reported the New York Post.
He also managed to take a swipe at Republicans in office who continue to support Donald Trump with all of his legal problems.
Prosecute Him
Himes actually seemed to call out the DOJ for giving Hunter a mere slap on the wrist.
However, he could not help himself from taking a shot at Republicans who are demanding that Hunter Biden be prosecuted, then, in the next breath, call the Trump case politically motivated.
Himes stated, "Let me say something that you never heard a Republican member of Congress say in the four years of the Trump administration, which is that if Hunter Biden broke the law, he should be prosecuted.
"And it is clear that he broke the law with respect to taxes and possibly the ownership of a handgun. He should be held accountable for that.
"If he traded on his father's influence, he should be held accountable for that. And I'm emphasizing this because you never, ever heard a Republican say the same thing about Donald Trump or his family," reported Fox News.
I was buying what Himes was selling up until his last statement, which was, "Now, to the question about impeachment, there is today zero evidence, zero evidence that Joe Biden, the president of the United States, knew about what his son was doing. If, if he did know about it, if he participated in that, then that is a very different conversation."
So, the laptop with all the texts linking Joe Biden to Hunter's business was not evidence? How about all the former business associates that have already come forward to say that Joe Biden was in on the deals? What about the Burisma official that stated he paid $10 million and was forced to retain Hunter Biden at Joe Biden's request?
There is plenty of evidence that Joe Biden was corrupt and neck deep in Hunter's business deals, not to mention other members of the family, but Democrats just love to act as though it does not exist.
