Jill Biden Shows Support for Hunter at Trial

On Monday, Hunter Biden’s gun charges trial started in Delaware.

In the gallery was Jill Biden, offering her support for her stepson.

This comes after Joe Biden said he was “so proud” of Hunter, “the man he is today.”

Showing Up for Hunter

First, let me take this from how Democrats would treat Donald Trump showing up in the gallery if one of his kids were on trial.

They would immediately be saying this was witness intimidation, with the former president sitting in the gallery staring down jury members.

So why is the right not claiming the same thing with Jill Biden and Secret Service agents in tow?

Oh, that’s right… because we are not out of mind like most of the left, but I digress.

As Hunter’s trial was about to get underway, Biden released a statement, “I am the President, but I am also a Dad. Jill and I love our son, and we are so proud of the man he is today.

“Hunter’s resilience in the face of adversity and the strength he has brought to his recovery are inspiring to us. A lot of families have loved ones who have overcome addiction and know what we mean.”

As Hunter entered the courtroom, he had a small entourage of support behind him, including Jill Biden and Hunter’s wife, Melissa Cohen Biden, who were both attending the trial.

Hunter probably could have gotten out of this unscathed if he had not tried to press his luck, but he and his attorneys got cocky, and now prosecutors appear to be ready to go after him.

There was a plea deal on the table, but Hunter’s attorneys wanted immunity for all future crimes not yet presented if he pleaded guilty to not having paid taxes on his 2017 and 2018 income.

Instead of telling prosecutors to rip up the deal after the judge rejected it, they could have done something about it, but Hunter and his attorneys were being hard-headed, no doubt thinking that Daddy would come to the rescue.

Instead, Hunter is going to have to depend on Jill’s death stare at the jury to win this case.
