Jen Psaki Book Fails Fact-check

Former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki has been cashing in big league on her time in the White House.

Psaki has already landed a hosting slot in a prime-time spot with MSNBC.

She also recently published a book, “Say More: Lessons from Work, the White House, and the World.”

The only problem is that her book has a major issue, which Psaki has finally admitted needed to be retracted.

Lies

We all remember the debacle that was Biden’s withdrawal from Afghanistan.

This debacle ended up costing 13 troops their lives, but it was also a horrible moment for Joe Biden when their bodies were received, which Psaki tried to sugarcoat in her book.

In her book, Psaki denied that Joe Biden checked his watch, claiming that did not happen until after the ceremony, but that is just not true, and the time stamps on the video is proof of that.

Psaki’s publisher later addressed this, noting that the text “will be corrected in the e-book and future printings due to inaccuracies as originally written.”

Psaki tried to downplay her blatant lie, stating, “The story on Afghanistan is really about the importance of delivering feedback even when it is difficult told through my own experience of telling President Biden that his own story of loss was not well received by the families who were grieving their sons and daughters.”

She could not be more wrong.

Gold Star families were deeply offended then and now.

For example, the father of Marine Staff Sgt. Taylor Hoover stated, “It needs to be removed.

“To go and put this in the book and memorialize it for all to see is nothing short of disgusting. I mean, it’s reprehensible to me.”

The mother of Marine Cpl. Humberto Sanchez added, “We are not liars. We’re just seeking for justice for our kids. And we are not trying to make this up.

“We’re not trying to make anybody look bad. We don’t care if it was Trump or if it was Biden.”

She continued that they had shown “disrespect for our families, for our loved ones and for the people that die for this country.”

This is utterly disgusting and indefensible, and the fact that Psaki tried to downplay her lie when she clearly knew exactly how all this went down has killed any credibility she may have had left, in my opinion.

That book should be removed and banned for its dishonesty.
