Jeffries Says Bowman Doesn't Deserve Censure

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, a Democrat from New York, recently announced his VERY controversial opinion.

He doesn't think that Democratic Representative Jamaal Bowman deserves censure.

In case you don't know who this guy Bowman is, he is the guy who pulled the fire alarm last month instead of letting Republicans vote to avoid a government shutdown.

See, when Republicans are in charge of the House, liberals are more desperate to see them fail than they are for America to be on the right track.

That's why Bowman LOVED the idea of America heading for a government shutdown.

If this happened while Republicans were in charge, then it would give liberals ammunition to say "See! They can't make any progress either!"

The only problem for liberals with that strategy is the fact that Republicans were pretty clearly about to come together during a vote to keep America running.

Bowman didn't want that.

He wanted the government to shut down, and he wanted to be able to blame Republicans for it.

So, he pulled a fire alarm instead of letting the vote happen.

Unless the fire was in Bowman's pants, there was no fire present.

Falsely pulling a fire alarm is a crime.

It's a crime if you're some bozo who doesn't want to have to sit at his office desk anymore, and it's a crime if you're a politician trying to prevent the opposing party from voting on something you didn't like.

Jeffries doesn't see it that way.

He wants Bowman let off.

Why?

That answer is as easy as it is illogical.

Because Bowman is a liberal. Jeffries will make countless excuses for his ideological allies, leftists always do that for each other.

Bowman needs to be held accountable, not excused.
