Jealousy is the cause of Meghan Markle and Victoria Beckham's fallout

Meghan Markle is "furious" with Victoria Beckham, and the anger comes from "jealousy." 

This is according to a new report from The Mirror, titled, Meghan Markle "furious" as Victoria Beckham "beats her to the post" with Netflix show.

The title just about sums the situation up. For those familiar with Markle, the pettiness will come as no surprise.

The source for The Mirror's report is Royal expert Ingrid Seward. Fox News has spoken with another royal expert - Kinsey Schofield - who has confirmed Seward's account of the situation.

The details

Markle is getting ready to release a cooking show on Netflix, but Beckham beat her to the punch with a program documenting her career in the fashion industry. As a result, there is a rumored feud between Markle and Beckham.

Seward told The Mirror:

I think she'd be annoyed that Victoria had pipped her to the post. She'd have to be magnanimous about it deep down inside. She might be annoyed, but she cannot show it, and you know she's enough of an actress to know that she can't possibly show it.

Schofield confirmed to Fox that "envy" is likely the cause of the fallout between Markle and Beckham.

Schofield said:

Ultimately, I believe it was envy that caused the fall out. We certainly have examples of Meghan accusing Victoria of leaking stories to the press when it was actually a salon receptionist with a pair of loose lips, but I think it all boils down to jealousy today.

Schofield went on to describe Markle in not so flattering terms.

Markle made national news headlines this past week for appearing at a Thanksgiving event without her husband, Prince Harry. This has led to much speculation about their relationship.

The New York Post reported:

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly in the midst of a professional separation, with reports suggesting that their work relationship is “in a very bad state.” Indeed, over the last few months both the “Suits” alum, 43, and Harry, 40, have been seen attending various events solo.

Markle released a statement on the event, in which she did not mention Harry.

The Post goes on to report:

It comes as Harry last week attended a string of Invictus Games-related events in Vancouver while Markle was seen joining her celebrity pals at a beauty launch event sans her husband. The pair did, however, appear in a joint video in honor of Veteran’s Day earlier this month — with Harry admitting the pair had been “at a crossroads” with work in recent weeks.

Critics of Prince Harry and Markle have said that it is only a matter of time before the two breakup, placing most of the blame on Markle.
