JD Vance promises to 'move heaven and earth' to block Biden's judicial nominees
When it comes to Vice President J.D. Vance and his resolve about the incoming administration, he recently said he will do EVERYTHING in his power to make sure any Biden judicial nominees are BLOCKED.
Since President Donald Trump won the election, there have been endless burning questions in the minds of Americans.
One of those questions is: Will Biden try to nominate uber-liberal judges before Trump takes office?
Vance remains a senator until he takes office alongside Trump. That means that he still has the power to vote against Biden's nominees until Vance is replaced.
Until then, Vance has made it his personal mission to “move heaven and earth” to ensure NO unfair nominations by Biden get through if Vance can prevent it.
Vance confirmed it all in a recent statement.
“As a co-chairman of the transition it’s vital that I’m focused on making sure President Trump’s government is fully staffed with people who support his America First agenda and will be ready to hit the ground running on January 20th,” Vance began.
“However, it’s also important to me to do everything in my power to block more radical judges from getting confirmed. So while it may be outside of the norm for an incoming VP to take Senate votes in the lame-duck period, if my colleagues here in the Senate tell me that we have a real chance of beating one of these nominees, I’ll move heaven and earth to be there for the vote,” Vance continued.
It seems as though Vance is saying he'd still be willing to vote against Biden's nominees if he could help keep them out, although it might not be the norm for the VP-elect to keep casting votes as a senator.
Vance is not the only Republican who's ready to fight against Biden's nominations. Vance is being joined by Trump spokesman Brian Hughes in bringing attention to this issue. This proves that many Americans need to be careful about what Biden and other liberals might try to do before Trump takes office.
“We cannot allow Chuck Schumer to play games with the transition’s ability to staff the incoming administration. Under no circumstances should we allow radical left judges to be jammed through the Senate at the 11th hour, but the Vice President-elect is needed for the transition to continue working ahead of schedule,” Hughes said.
For now, all we can do is wait to see what will happen next.
Do you think Republicans might still need Vance's vote to stop any Biden funny business?
