JD Vance Exposes Biden Operative in DOJ

Ever since the Donald Trump indictments were announced, Republicans have pushed the narrative that the DOJ was weaponized against Trump at the behest of Joe Biden.

The left has always made this out to be a conspiracy theory, but Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH), one of the top candidates to be Trump’s VP, just blew that out of the water.

Vance outlined the timeline of Matthew Colangelo joining the DOJ, and it truly does sound as though something fishy is going on here.

Just Smells Bad

For those of you who do not know the history of Matthew Colangelo, his ties to the DNC and Biden administration are rather significant.

Dating back to 2018, Colangelo was being paid some rather significant fees by the DNC for consulting work.

Moving forward from there, Colangelo serves as an acting associate general attorney during the early days of the Biden administration before moving over to work in Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s office.

While the DA's office had declined to prosecute Trump to this point, everything changed when Colangelo joined the office.

He first went after the Trump Foundation, which resulted in the foundation being dissolved.

Then he led the investigation into Trump for the hush-money payments, and suddenly we have almost three dozen felony charges filed against Trump.

When NBC News’ Kristen Welker tried to say that these kinds of moves happen at the time, Vance pushed back, telling her, “Well, Kristen, first of all, you said that it ‘happens all the time’ that the number three person in the Department of Justice jumps ship to join a local prosecutor’s office to go after the president’s political opponent?

“I don’t think that’s ever happened in the history of American democracy and I don’t think that we should legitimize it.”

When Welker tried to say that Biden had nothing to do with the Special Counsel being appointed, Vance also pushed back, stating, “So the idea that the Biden administration has nothing to do with the appointment of the special prosecutor, I think, completely betrays an understanding— a misunderstanding of how our system of government actually works.

“Of course, Kristen, we have to make this point, Kristen, that the prosecution of Donald Trump in New York — which I think now [has] fundamentally been thrown in doubt by this immunity case — it was one of the main guys— was a Department of Justice official in the Biden administration who jumped ship to join a local prosecutor’s office to go after Donald Trump.”

I have actually discussed this in previous reports and came to the same conclusion as Vance.

As an observer from the outside, it just appears that Biden’s DOJ decided it wanted to take down Trump, so an operative moved into Bragg’s office and made it happen.

When you see the Colangelo timeline, it is hard to come to any other conclusion.
