JD Vance Erupts in Anger After Harris Attacks Trump
Donald Trump is getting blistered in the media right now for a photo op that took place at Arlington National Cemetery.
While I agree that photo ops should not be taken there, let’s be honest… politicians have been doing this since we can all remember.
That would include Joe Biden during his 2020 campaign, which is why Senator JD Vance (R-OH) went nuclear on Harris when her campaign piled on Trump after the news report.
Can’t Do That
Trump went to Arlington to lay a wreath in honor of the 13 fallen troops during Joe Biden’s Afghanistan withdrawal debacle.
Obviously, campaign staffers wanted to capture the moment on film, but a staffer tried to prevent them from coming in, and it resulted in an “incident.”
After it was reported, MSNBC immediately went on the attack, stating, “I know a lot of military veterans were very uncomfortable with the idea that Trump was there at all and that he even at one point posed for a photograph with family members with a big smile and thumbs up on their face. Now we should note, some of the family members were doing the same, but that’s their right.
“Donald Trump, seemingly, very strange that he would do the same. And yet, some of these veterans were sort of just aghast that even in any way, shape or form, Arlington National Cemetery, arguably the most sacred place in our country, was being used as a backdrop for a political purpose.”
Harris’ campaign piled on, which led to Vance going off, stating, “The other thing that our veterans care more about is that three years ago, 13 brave, innocent Americans died. And they died because Kamala Harris refused to do her job and there hasn’t been a single investigation or a single firing.
“Kamala Harris is disgraceful. We want to talk about a story out of those 13 brave, innocent Americans who lost their lives? It’s that Kamala Harris is so asleep at the wheel that she won’t even do an investigation into what happened. And she wants to yell at Donald Trump because he showed up?”
Vance added that Harris can “go to hell.”
Steven Cheung, the Trump campaign spokesperson, also fired off an attack, stating, "The fact is that a private photographer was permitted on the premises and for whatever reason an unnamed individual, clearly suffering from a mental health episode, decided to physically block members of President Trump's team during a very solemn ceremony.
"We are prepared to release footage if such defamatory claims are made."
As I stated above, I don’t think this is the best place for a photo op, especially when you have a group of people standing around with big smiles on their faces and the patented Trump “thumbs up” pose while standing over the graves of our fallen.
Having said that, everyone does it, and it has never been a problem before.
But, Trump has to realize that everything he does gets put under a microscope by the media, so he has to be smarter about this type of thing.
It may not be right, and it may not be fair, but these are the cards we are dealt with today’s corrupt mainstream media that is clearly a wing of the DNC now.
