Well, it really seems like the GOP is going to move forward and impeach Joe Biden.
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) stated that week that an impeachment of Joe Biden is imminent, reported Breitbart.
And it will be a complete waste of time.
Can’t Win
As I have stated before, I am all for impeaching Joe Biden if we can win the impeachment, but we cannot.
If the House moves forward, this vote will come down along party lines, and I am not even sure they will get all the GOP votes.
Comer explained why the GOP is moving forward.
He stated, “Now, the National Archives is claiming that Joe Biden, who is using aliases or pseudonyms — Robert Peters, Robin Ware, JRB Ware, and they’re saying that you need to get permission from Joe Biden to get the pseudonym email accounts that are critical to your oversight investigation, and you’re going to need Barack Obama’s approval?
“That’s never going to happen. That sounds to me like they’re covering for Joe, and they’re trying to run out the clock so you can’t finish your investigation. What — what tools do you have at your disposal to expedite this?
‘Well, I think there’s consensus in our conference now that we’re going to have to go to an impeachment inquiry.
“Obviously, that’ll be Speaker McCarthy’s call, but I feel like we’re there now, Sean. I feel like that’s imminent, and I believe that that will be a tool in our toolbox when we go to court with our subpoena. Look, we’ve requested these documents.
“The House Oversight Committee has legislative jurisdiction over the National Archives.
“They’ve stonewalled us in the Biden mishandling of classified documents. Now, they’re — you know, we hope they don’t stonewall us in the pseudonym request. There are 5,400 emails in at least three different pseudonyms.”
Believe me, I get all that, but if the impeachment will not succeed in the House, what is the point?
There is not a single Democrat in that Senate that will vote to impeach Joe Biden, and they need 60 votes, without having the majority, so what is the point?
Big deal, we get the impeachment on the record… but Biden will never be removed from office.
And for those who think this will convince Democrat voters to not vote for Joe, it will probably do the complete opposite and drive support because when it fails in the Senate, Democrats will say this was nothing but revenge and they were able to put it down.
This could actually have the reverse effect that Republicans think it will have and end up costing them the House in 2024 because yes, that is how mentally challenged many voters are today.
Save the time and money… gather your evidence, then appoint a special counsel after defeating Joe Biden in the general election.
Instead of unsuccessfully impeaching Joe Biden, make the case that you cannot impeach him because Democrat Senators will never support the impeachment. Use this against them in the elections, don’t feed the monster.
I just do not understand the mindset of knowing you are fighting a losing battle and still deciding to walk out on the battlefield.
Convince me why I am wrong about this.
