Jeremy Renner Airlifted After Snowplow Accident

It is nice to have toys, until those toys bite you back.

That would seem to be the case for actor Jeremy Renner.

Renner had to be airlifted to the hospital after suffering severe injuries related to a snowplow incident.

Tragedy Strikes

Renner is a very popular member of the Marvel superhero movies.

He also has a very popular TV show called “Mayor of Kingstown,” which, if you have not yet watched, I highly recommend.

According to reports, Renner, among other injuries, suffered blunt chest trauma.

His representatives stated, "We can confirm that Jeremy has suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries and has undergone surgery today, January 2nd 2023.

"He has returned from surgery and remains in the intensive care unit in critical but stable condition.

"Jeremy's family would like to express their gratitude to the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue, Washoe County Sheriff, Reno City Mayor Hillary Schieve and the Carano and Murdock families.

"They are also tremendously overwhelmed and appreciative of the outpouring of love and support from his fans."

Renner is reportedly in critical but stable condition.

The Washoe County (Nevada) Sheriff's Office also reported, "At approximately 9:00am on January 1, 2023, the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office responded to a traumatic injury in the area of Mt. Rose Highway in Reno, Nevada.

"Upon arrival, Deputies coordinated with Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District and REMSA Health to arrange for medical transport of Mr. Jeremy Renner via care flight to a local area hospital. Mr. Renner was the only involved party in the incident."

Renner reportedly also had significant blood loss from a wound to his leg, having been run over by the plow.

Social media blew up with well wishes for the popular star from fans and other stars alike.

Get well soon, Jeremy. We hope you recover in full and can get back to your family.
