Ivanka Trump Heads to North Carolina to Help with Relief Efforts

The two women who mean the most to Donald Trump have been very quiet during this election cycle.

Melania was MIA until she started to promote her new book.

And we have barely heard a peep from Ivanka since leaving the White House, but she just made a big splash.

She’s Back

Other than a few vacation photos, Ivanka Trump has been completely off the radar.

That changed this week when she showed up in North Carolina to help hand out food and other supplies to victims of the hurricane.

Ivanka traveled with an organization called CityServe, which she has worked with dating back to when her father was in office.

The group provides fresh meals as well as fresh produce from Planet Harvest.

Elon Musk also offered up some help, sending StarLink out with devices so people could get internet connections.

Ivanka showed up very low profile, wearing a sweater and jeans… this clearly was not about fanfare for her, just as she has done in other circumstances.

When she goes to these events, she gets spotted… there is no big announcement and no media pool to take photos.

North Carolina has been decimated by the storm, with many people stuck in remote areas with no food or water.

Helicopters are now being used to deliver supplies to some of these people, while workers continue to try to rescue those still in danger.

The death toll is expected to be in the hundreds, as there are still more than 100 people missing, with the death toll already at 227 and growing all the time.

This is one of those storms that will take years to clear, and tens of millions of dollars in rebuilding.

I just cannot help but wonder how much more useful all that money spent on illegal immigrants would be for actual American citizens right now.
