Ivanka Trump, family celebrate Christmas with Donald, Melania
While Donald Trump and the rest of his politically-minded family were probably ROCKED to learn that Ivanka Trump wasn't going to participate in Donald's administration the second time around, that doesn't mean that there are any sour grapes between the family members.
In fact, Ivanka Trump was seen smiling and raising a glass to Donald and Melania at a recent Trump family Christmas event.
While some people have tried to portray Ivanka sitting out this administration as some sort of bad blood boiling in the family, it appears as though nothing could be further from the truth.
Much like Melania Trump, it seems as though Ivanka just enjoys some time away from the spotlight to be a wife and a mother.
Ivanka may be a celebrity, but that doesn't mean she can't enjoy a little personal time!
Donald Trump's eldest daughter, who's a businesswoman herself, clearly still cares about her family, that's why she chose to spend Christmas with them!
She even posted a picture of her and her husband and children at Mar-a-Lago, where they were attending Donald Trump's dinner celebration on Christmas Eve.

Ivanka and her family apparently enjoyed a good time at the event. One source reported that "There were no toasts by [Trump], but Ivanka was observed raising her glass and saying something with a smile to her father and Melania."
There's no doubt that Donald Trump must be extremely proud of Ivanka, regardless of if she wants to participate in politics or not.
Heck, in 2016, when Hillary Clinton was asked to say something positive about Donald Trump, she pointed out how great his children turned out and said that Donald should be very proud of them.
The event that Ivanka and her family attended garnered headlines because Donald Trump served as D.J. for the evening, and even did his signature dance, which has gone viral online.
Ivanka isn't in politics anymore, but she looks very happy! Perhaps those two things are related!
