Ivanka Shuts Down Prosecutors

What the expectations were by the New York Attorney General to call Ivanka Trump to the stand were we don’t know, but it is doubtful they were met.

Ivanka was hardly as confrontational as her siblings, but she did not give up much information.

When it came time to talk about financials, she conveniently seemed to forget just about everything.

I Don’t Recall

There were times during her testimony that Ivanka offered up amazing details. It seemed as though there was on detail that was left untold. But she sounded more like a mafia member when the subject was financials, either not recalling or having no knowledge of the subject.

Letitia James's attorney Louis Solomon pretty much lost it after Ivanka went into great detail about the Plaza Hotel, but then told him she had no recollection to a follow-up question about financials for the Trump Organization.

He screamed, "She just spent three minutes describing the Plaza Hotel, how it’s similar to this! But she has no recollection when I ask her a question?”

Ivanka did acquisitions and mergers when she worked for the Trump organization, so she was clearly involved in some financial details, but she stated that she had only “granular” knowledge.

There were email chains of her supplying financials to lenders and such, but like her brothers, she said she leaned into the accountants for that information.

Really, the only difference was that while Donald, Donnie Jr., and Eric all ranted and offered up political speeches on the stand, Ivanka kept it to the questions asked and remained very calm throughout.

I am still confused by why both boys and Trump himself went on these rants because there was no jury and the trial is not televised, so they were performing for a judge who has clearly already made up his mind.
