Israeli war cabinet member Benny Gantz resigns

Just one day after Israel rescued four hostages being held in Gaza, the "good guys" in this war received some interesting news:

Centrist Israeli official Benny Gantz is resigning.

Early reports indicate that Gantz may have previously butted heads with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over what Israel's plans for Gaza were following this war.

Gantz is a former military leader who joined Netanyahu's government as a show of support after the Hamas terrorist attacks that happened back on October 7, 2023. Netanyahu is still in power even without the support of Gantz, but Netanyahu will now be more reliant on figures from the country's political right, as Gantz represented more of a centrist viewpoint.

Even the rescue mission that saved four Israeli hostages is becoming a point of conflict.

Insanely, some people on this globe are backing Hamas in this conflict, and they're arguing that since the mission killed over 210 people in order to save just four, it should not be regarded as a success, but as a bloodbath.

Gantz perhaps didn't want to put even more controversy around the rescue mission, so he delayed his announcement by one day to let the events play out.

Only time will tell how this impacts Israel's war effort and whether or not it will affect America's involvement in the conflict across the globe.

While many don't want to get involved in foreign wars, it's pretty clear which side is right.

On one side is Israel, perhaps one of the greatest allies that America has ever had.

On the other side is Hamas, a terrorist organization that sets up its operations in the hospitals and schools of Gaza, using sick and young citizens as human meat shields to protect the terrorists.
