Netanyahu counters Biden claim that Israel is ready for permanent ceasefire

Joe Biden recently outlined a plan for a ceasefire in Gaza that he claimed came straight from the Israeli government.

There was just one problem with what Biden was asserting.

His statement that the plan had been crafted Israel and represented its wishes was completely false.

Biden recently came out and said that Israel had proposed a ceasefire plan, immediately sending the families of hostages being held by Hamas into a roller coaster of emotions.

They were ecstatic, thinking that they were soon going to be holding their loved ones close again. The families of the Israeli hostages immediately started calling for all parties to accept the proposal.

That's why Biden's lie was such a big deal.

He gave false hope and was potentially making a power play by trying to force Israel's government into agreeing to something it doesn't want to in order to calm the hearts of the hostage's families.

Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office immediately put out a statement saying that Joe Biden was NOT speaking on behalf of Israel, and that officials are REFUSING to agree to a ceasefire until certain conditions are met.

"Israel’s conditions for ending the war have not changed: the destruction of Hamas’ military and governing capabilities, the freeing of all hostages and ensuring that Gaza no longer poses a threat to Israel," Netanyahu's office said. "Under the proposal, Israel will continue to insist these conditions are met before a permanent cease-fire is put in place."

Families of the hostages were begging for Israel to follow Biden's plan and give up on anything else other than getting the Israeli hostages back.

"This might be the last chance to save lives," Gili Roman told the Associated Press. "Our leadership must not disappoint us. But mostly, all eyes should be on Hamas." Roman's sister-in-law is currently being held hostage by Hamas.

We are praying for everyone involved and hope that the leaders of America and Israel are able to work together to come up with a plan that saves lives AND reduces what terrorists are capable of in the future.
